The Free State of Saxony has issued a new Corona-Safety-Guideline that is valid from 28.01.21 to 14.02.21. Therein §5a section 4 nos.v3 and 4 set out the conditions for students to be eligible for emergency child care. If you require a certificate for your child care institution, please contact Norman Friedrich. We will fast-track your request.

Dear Students, we are happy to announce that all certificates issued by Leipzig University are now available in the new corporate design and we are proud to be the first faculty to use them. Graduates from our study courses will obtain the following certificates:

  • Leaving certificate, German and English
  • Examination certificate, German and English
  • Transcript of Records, German and English
  • Diploma Supplement, German and English

The Rectorate has approved and released new regulations for study courses, for examination and for practical courses in the degree course for bachelor students of psychology. The new regulations come into effect on 1 october 2020 are published in the official bulletin of Leipzig University.

The Examination Board for biological sciences has decided on July 13th, 2020 to modify the prerequisites for registration to the practical and the theory modules. As an exception for the winter semester 2020/2021, master students in biochemistry, biology and (international master) biodiversity, ecology and evolution can register for the practical module and the theory module on the basis of only five completed modules, four of which must have been passed.
